Vacation 07

We decided at the last minute to pack up the car and drive across the country with 2 wiggly kids in tow. Not the best idea we've ever had but it definitely filled my need for adventure. It was great to see everyone, especially those who had no idea we were coming until we showed up at their door. We were able to see Darin's parents and sister and BIL, Nicole and Paul. The kids had a great time on the farm, hiking up Teton Canyon, and swimming at Green Canyon Hot Springs.

We were able to see not only Darin's family, but also Kate's brother and SIL, Dan and Jess, in Rexburg. Next we headed to Twin Falls to spend the night with some good friends and then continued on our way to Utah to see Kate's sister, Keri, and her family. Having all 5 kids under one roof was as chaotic as you might imagine but the kids absolutely loved it! Even Dan and Jess couldn't keep away and came down to join the fun (woohoo!) We even got brave and ventured out to a local aquarium and swimming pool which created some fun memories but unfortunately no pics b/c we forgot the camera! It was a great trip and looong drive but we don't regret any second of it. Coming home was bittersweet. We were sad to leave our loved ones and the mountains but relieved to be back home in our comfy beds. We look forward to flip flopping our life so we can live out there and vacation out here. Someday!
