On Sunday we started our new ward. We had sacrament meeting, and the Bishop and his counselors spoke. Afterward, we had a short half hour meeting. I was asked to join the Willowbrook ladies in primary so my primary kids would have a familiar face and feel more comfortable. Darin said the adult meeting was just everyone standing up and introducing themselves, and you couldn't hear anyone anyway, so I didn't miss much. They called an executive secretary and so callings will be given out this week and I imagine we'll be a functioning ward by next week.
After church we ate lunch then headed out to Driggs to pick up some things we had left there. We got halfway through the dry farms when we realized we forgot the key. Oops!

Good thing small boys fit through small windows!

Breaking in to Grandma's house. Sorry, Evonne!

Darin didn't want to leave without doing at least a little bit of exploring.
|
Lots of cool stuff in the little barn.

What remains of the Teton Dam. Living here, we hear a lot about the flood but had never visited the site before.

Apparently if you take the road to the right, that doesn't look like a road at all, instead of the one to the left, which you took, you can actually get down to the river/closer to the dam, where there's a boat launch. Make sure you take the truck though.
Love the pic of the kids on the tree.
