Ohio/Aquarium

We were quite fortunate to make a trip to Ohio this summer. It has been a few years since we went and very badly wanted to go. We realized that driving would be a much cheaper option but we knew our cars weren't up for a road trip. Curtis and Missy generously offered their brand-new mini van for our use. I was 100% against using it, but eventually my desire to go home won out and took up their offer. We can't thank them enough. Wow, what a nice van! That was by far the easiest, quickest drive we've ever made across the country. We parked it once we got there because mom agreed to let us use her car while we were there. Another thank you to her!
Anyhow, I don't have too much to say about the trip, I'd rather just post the pictures.

The Aquarium is in an awesome old building! I loved this sign, it reminded me of one of our cats growing up. His name was Powerhouse and he was named such because he was found living at the powerhouse of the steel mill where my dad worked.

The shark tunnel was not nearly as awesome as the one in Nebraska was, but still neat.

My favorite pic. This girl was in an evening dress, with a fancy handbag and heels. Granted, she looked gorgeous, but so out of place there, especially given the appearance of her date.

I had to laugh when we were trying to drive out of the city and came upon these trucks stopped and having a conversation in the middle of the intersection.
