We spent a weekend down in Utah for my nephew's baptism. It was a quick trip but so worth it. I don't get to see my sister, Keri, very often but it's always so much fun to get together with her. We spent Saturday at the church for the baptism, then spent the evening swimming at the hotel, then headed to Temple Square on Sunday. We decided to hit the road early b/c I was worn out from working the PTO's basketball tournament the prior few evenings and hadn't had much sleep. While driving home our car died, we lost power and coasted to a stop on the side of the highway. Luckily, we were caravan-ing my car-smart BIL who was not too far ahead of us and my brother was about about 30 miles away. Both families turned their cars around and came to our rescue without a second thought. How grateful I am for all of these wonderful people! I hope they know we would have done the same for them and that we are always willing to help them in any way we can.
Curtis was finally able to get our car going. It would start but would lose power going uphill so he would throw it into neutral and start the engine again. It was a very long drive, but we made it home safely. After a pricey trip to the mechanic, we discovered we had a broken fuel line and got it replaced. The garage smells strongly of gasoline when the car is parked inside, so we'll have to figure out why that's still happening, but other than that the car is running great.

What would we do without cars or family? Glad you got it fixed.
