The kids recreated
Lehi's Dream in the living room. For you non-LDS people, Lehi is a prophet from the Book of Mormon who had a symbolic dream about an iron rod leading to the Tree of Life. In subsequent chapters, Lehi's son, Nephi, is shown the same dream and also given the interpretation. It's a story we teach our children about, much like David and Goliath or Daniel and the Lion's Den.
The Jenga pieces represent the straight and narrow path and the Iron rod, the bird feeder is supposed to be the tree. That snowman represents Satan. I don't think Satan is actually in the story, but they're using him to represent evil. Later the kids moved him to the top of the TV which they turned into the great and spacious building. I didn't get a picture of the finished product, but they did pretty good at remembering all the crucial elements of the dream. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

That's pretty cool. Was Satan w 5 eyes created especially for their project? Neat that they've been listening to someone [you can take the credit] and even better learning.
