Happy 4th!

Kids being kids.

We had a happy 4th. We went to Lorain again despite what happened last year. It's easier to be able to just walk to see them and not fight traffic. We took a different route this time though, no fights or guns :) Yay!
This was Naiya's first year watching them. She was scared and clung to me like a little koala, with one ear muffled by my chest and the other covered by my hand. She wouldn't open her eyes at first, but curiousity got the best of her when we oohed and aahed at the pink and sparkles and told her princesses always have fireworks at their castles. She finally gave in and enjoyed them.

The kids got silly waiting for the fireworks.

Glad you had a safe 4th. I wondered if you would brave them this year. Wished we were with you.

You've got a tongue roller. Remember how you guys used to mock those who couldn't do it.

Did you really need sweatshirts? It was 101 out here on the 4th. And it was still 89 at 10:30. How fun!!
