Sprinklers!

After much consideration we decided to go ahead and have sprinklers installed. We thought about waiting but I would hate to put in grass only to dig it up later, and I really miss having a yard. Plus, we already had the money saved up, and we knew there was no way we could do it ourselves. Darin doesn't have the time and I don't have the know-how for such a huge project. So we had it done professionally. Don't judge.
Our dirt is very clay-ish and we're worried about how well the grass will grow. We thought we had to wait until fall to plant, but Mr. Sprinkler Man suggested planting now and using the sprinklers to soak the grass throughout the day so it can still grow. We can fill in patches as they show up. With all the flooding around, I imagine it's okay to do that without worrying about a drought. So here's hoping I have grass this year after all!

After T-ball yesterday we hit up FatCats for bowling with the cousins. I've graduated to bowling without bumpers, but I think I'm getting worse instead of better.
