Yesterday was Parent/Teacher conferences. His grades are great, academically he's still above average, so that's good. She also said his behavior has been better. He's still Calin of course but he has improved. Plus, she's kept him separated from the kids he has the hardest time with so that helps.
Conferences meant no school, so Darin took the day off and the boys went snowboarding. Again. They just went on Saturday, then Calin again with school on Tuesday, then again yesterday. He just can't get enough. He truly loves it and from what Darin says he is getting better each time. Yesterday they ventured all around the mountain so Calin could try out all the different runs. He ran into his snowboarding instructor who said it looks like he's ready for the more advanced class. Darin took him off a few small jumps, and he liked them even though he landed on his butt. So it was definitely a good day for the 2 of them.

It is great that he is doing so well. He is channeling his energies to doing better and doing better things. Way to go Calin, we're proud of you.
So she's finally figured out how to help keep him focused. Good for her. A nice note of praise is great too. Bet Calin enjoyed that.
You know if you're gonna live in all that snow you might as well enjoy it. Good for your boys! When are you going to try it? Or are you going to take nice long hot bubble baths when Naiya joins them on the slopes?
i am so glad dad can get the days off so he can play with Calin...what fun.
