May flies
Lucky us, we got to be in Ohio for mayfly season. That's when these bugs (aka Canadian soldiers) swarm in and take over every inch of lighted space available. They only last for a few days but they're pretty gross. They are the worst closest to the lake, and since my parents are only a few blocks away, they get tons of them. Driving over them one night sounded like we were driving through puddles. So gross.

Sooo glad we missed them.
I agree that they are nasty. Good thing they don't last long.
Too bad that Darin didn't have a picture of the dead ones on the cycle's shield that we hit on the way home from Vermilion. I had to laugh at his bare legs covered with them.
